International Truck’s MTX
I seen this International MTX parked at the International dealer in Columbus, Ohio. I have no use for it really, it just looks like it would be a fun truck to have. At a base price of $89,500, even Hummer owners would blush. It’s diesel powered and can tow over 15,000 pounds.
It’s cool, but nothing like the International trucks of yesterday that everyone could afford.

J.B. Hunt Flatbed Division Truck
I found this old picture from when I drove for J.B. Hunt‘s Flatbed Division. I made good money, but just about everything else about that job and this truck was bad. In this photo, I stopped at my cousin’s house just off of the interstate. I was probably looking for someone to feel sorry for me driving this cabover.

For those, not into trucking, a cab-over beats you to death, but they were much easier to get in and out of tight spots. This cab-over had a stretched out frame to make room for really long pieces on the trailer. This made the truck good for almost nothing, except occasionally hauling long stuff.
J.B. Hunt’s flatbed division has long disappeared, and rightfully so. This job ended when a driver came right out of their school with no experience and backed into the cab so hard it knocked the cab off of the frame, with me in the sleeper! Somehow the company decided his accident was my fault. They said I should have woke up and guided him in and that I should not have did some other things to him after he hit the truck and nearly killed me. Things were just never right with me and this company after that and I moved on. Ahh, the good ole’ days.
Free Stuff
I don’t get free stuff often, but when I do, I get a bunch of it. This was free dirt from my brother-in-law. Free dirt also means dirt that you have to shovel. Tami helped. It was just enough to fill all of the holes they dogs have dug in the yard. There are better ways to spend a Sunday, but it was free dirt.

Never put this much dirt in a Ford either. It was almost to much for a Chevy.
I bet there are people wondering why anyone would post about a load of dirt. I do it because I can and it’s almost free.
I seen a show on TV where people in far flung deserts are getting online now. They’re hauling dirt with donkeys and camels. Maybe they’ll be inspired. Rich people could land here and be thankful they didn’t have to spend their Sunday shoveling dirt. It’s an inspirational post. 
When you spend your day this way and you’re trying to come up with something to post, this is what you end up with.
