How to Blog Day 17. Watch a First Time Reader on Your Website.
Today’s lesson from 31 Days To Build A Better Blog tells us to watch a first time reader use you’re blog.
Sounds useful enough. Get some of their thoughts and impressions and watch how they navigate through the website. I wouldn’t take to much of your design to heart. I’ve never made a website where I couldn’t find one person that thought it looked great and another who would just say nothing trying to be polite. If the user can read it and it’s not confusing, you’ve overcame the biggest design problems.
The book also suggest a few tools that show you what users are doing once their in your website. I can visualize this from the stats I get from other tools, but there are tools to make this easier.
