How to Blog Day 12. Set Up a Blog Calendar.
In continuation of my review for 31 Days To Build A Better Blog, day 12 instructs us to set up a blogging calendar.
A blogging calendar is a great idea. I’ve tried this before and never followed through. With all of the tips in the book, I think I can come up with a reasonable solution. It would have been really nice if they gave you a template to start with. You can’t just go through the 31 days and put them on a calendar. There are to many things that need done everyday, like backlinking and promotion.
The problem I’ve had in the past is that I was only setting up the calendar for posting. I thought I would just know what to do everyday when it came to the daily tasks. Even things like promotion get forgotten because there are so many ways to promote. It is beneficial to say what specific promotion methods you will use on specific days and times.
Google Calendar is the easiest way to get the calendar made, but I don’t know of any blog specific calendars on the market.
