I’ve always loved photography. It’s a hobby that you only really have to compete with yourself. It’s an art form that requires no special abilities other than understanding some technical aspects and framing an image in a way that shows the world how you see things. Photography only requires you to master your skills of observation.
Digital photography loosened the technical restraints. Now anyone with even the slightest budget and willingness to learn has the darkroom capabilities to rival the most seasoned professional and even the bad equipment is good enough. The large number of great images on the Internet is a testament to what can be done.
