I don’t know how many conversations I’ve had to endure from people who are obsessed with the dangers of motorcycling. It’s as if it’s their life mission to tell everyone who rides about their grandiose knowledge and wisdom on this matter.
This video explains how I understand the topic and what I think these hand-wringers are really up to.
Ohio’s “Tail Of The Dragon” is actually better than Tennessee’s in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, both are incredible. Ohio State Route 536 is closer and has less traffic. The road is just as thrilling. Here is a video of the ride.
And here is the the long version which covers many topics as I ride through the cities of –
This is a video I shot where I talk about Spectro synthetic motorcycle oil. I was out warming the bike up before I changed from Mobil 1 Synthetic motorcycle oil.
Spectro motorcycle oil did improve the rough shifting, but that’s not 100% conclusive. Any oil change may have improved it. Overall, Spectro Motorcycle oil seems to be good. I will try Amsoil next just to see if the shifting characteristics change any.
Walterific is one that I watch and enjoy occasionally. He’s geared towards a younger crowd, but I always found his videos to be about as good as you can get on a bike. I often wondered how he did all the things he did while riding without a problem. The answer was that that he couldn’t. It caught up with him eventually.
Walter seems like a great guy and I’m sure he’ll find a way to motovlog . Actually, it happened while he was changing a song on his radio and not while motovlogging, but for me, motovlogging had the same problem. There were little distractions that had to take place to do it. Distractions on motorcycles(or any vehicle), just aren’t worth it.
I am thinking about trying to use what I learned creating videos to do other types of videos, but it is much more difficult to come up with content worth recording than you would think. It’s a talent and a skill like photography or anything else.
