Carroll County, Ohio Photos
It is hard to tell you're in Northern Ohio when you're in Carroll County, Ohio. The high hills and rural sights are very are more like the southern parts of the state.
The Algonquin Mill area ran by the Ohio Historical Society is a restored mill area with many old buildings. All buildings were closed when we were there, so check with the Ohio Historical Society before you visit for times of operation. The mill made for some nice photos with the fall foliage as the backdrop.
Atwood Lake and Leesville Lake were full of sailboats and the wind was blowing hard for them. The Atwood Lake State Park is worth a visit if you're in the area.
I found some old trains in Minerva and decided to post some Photoshop work that I did to them.
Carrollton is the home to the famous McCook family. The family had 9 family members serving in the civil war at one time.
