Clark County, Ohio Photos
Clark County is just to the west of Columbus, Ohio, and to the east of Dayton, Ohio. Interstate 70 runs by it and the Historic National Road runs through it.
The National Road is the Old US 40 that was the first American coast to coast highway. It's origins go all the way back to the pioneer days.
I was hoping to catch some good leftovers from the National Road Era, but there really wasn't much left. There were a few places like Joe's Grille that looked like they might be trying to cash in on it a bit, but nothing that was really noteworthy.
I drove around town and nothing much caught my eye. Once at Buck Creek State Park, the trip was made worthwhile. The park was nothing special, just you're run of the mill park. The good part was that there were very few people there. It was so quiet. All you could hear was the seagulls catching their evening meal. The sunset came and made for some good pictures.
You never know what you'll find on a trip through Ohio. Sometime just peace and quiet. That was good enough for me this trip.
Enjoy the photos!
