2018. Bring It On.

Plans For 2018

The plans for 2018 have already begun. A new job has started and new roads are being explored. The brutal low temperatures are hampering some efforts. The tough part of winter only last about 2 months, so I’ll lean into hard and look forward to warmer days.

I started participating in ride sharing programs as a driver. It’s an interesting combination of tech, cars, and driving. These are 3 things that I have some thorough knowledge in. I know, ride sharing alone is not going to pay the bills. I have some other ideas that I hope to couple with it to make it profitable.

Like this project car above, there is a lot to do with the new venture before it’s worthy of much discussion. I can answer some of the big questions about ride sharing, but keep in perspective, I only have 1 month’s experience.

  1. Is there any money in ride sharing? It depends on the driver’s motivation to work and their knowledge of the market.
  2. What hours do you work? Any hours I want, but the market does dictate when you work if you are attempting to achieve maximum profit.
  3. Can I do it? Go to the company’s website and search the requirements.

I do have a driver referral code that will get a recruit and myself income if they sign up. At this time, I don’t feel comfortable suggesting this job to just anyone. There are simply to many factors that make this job right or wrong for you. I’m not at a level of expertise to make that recommendation.
